Illegal Alien Costume

The Illegal Alien Mask was a hit in 2009. Let’s see if the trend continues until 2010. I know it is controversial. C’mon, though. It’s Halloween. People are running around dressed as anything under the sun. Devils, hookers, nuns, and fairies are all present. I think that it is perfectly ok to wear this mask for Halloween. The illegal alien mask will certainly get you some attention, just beware that some people may approach and question your motives for wearing the mask. Please do not reinforce stereotypes of Americans as xenophobic and racist. Halloween is all about goo humor and this mask is created with this intention. Sorry to be so serious, but I don’t think that this mask has to be offensive if the person wearing it is just having a good time. :)

Politics aside, Halloween night is all about the debauchery and in the illegal alien mask you can enjoy yourself and enjoy your pun of a costume. Masks like this are made to be taken off after the initial laugh, so walk into the party and get some attention, then take the mask off and pour yourself an Alien-green cocktail. Or just have a beer-whatever floats your boat. Masks can be pretty hot on the inside, don’t be afraid to take breaks from the costume so you can have a good time. You don’t want to be suffocating yourself just for the sake of staying in costume! Costumes are important for Halloween, but don’t sweat it!

From Wikipedia:

“Illegal immigration is immigration across national borders in a way that violates the immigration laws of the destination country. Illegal immigrants are also known as illegal aliens to differentiate them from legal aliens. In politics, the term may imply a larger set of social issues and time constraints with disputed consequences in areas such as economy, social welfare, education, health care, slavery, prostitution, legal protections, voting rights, public services, and human rights. Conversely, Illegal emigration refers to unlawfully leaving a country.”
