Avatar Costumes

Avatar is probably the most popular movie of the year. Every year there are some costumes that stand out in the minds of costume aficionados. Usually these costumes are of characters from a movie or television show that had a particular following that year. Last year was a sort of exception to this rule, as Michael Jackson became the must have costume. The glove and various other accessories flew off the shelves. The King of Pop is still a hot item this year, but Avatar is stacking up to be the top costume for the year. The Neytiri costume is an excellent choice for girls and women and the Jake Sulley costume is perfect for boys and men. The characters in the film are easy to fall in love with and to get into these costumes for the night will bring you that much closer to being these newly iconic creatures.

The world in which Avatar takes place is interconnected and everyone lives in complete balance and harmony. Contribute to this beautiful Utopian ideal by wearing the skin of the peace loving aliens. Man may have been super mean to them, but you can propagate their views in costume! Although I usually have a distaste for films with such an obvious political sub text, this one impressed me and if you don’t appreciate for the story and writing you must at least give credit to the visual effects in the film. Talk about the perfect excuse for buying one of those new 3d tvs!

Presidential Masks

To wear a mask of the President or other major figures is quite the American tradition. Since the days of Nixon it has been popular to mock our Commanders-in-Chiefs by wear fun costume masks. They allow anyone to look like a political caricature of their favorite or least favorite political figure. Obama masks were at first very popular with supporters of the President and are now hot sellers with those protesting his policies. If the two sides together it would be a field of Obamas! Bush masks were for many years popular in the many protests against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They’re still pretty popular, many people teaming up with a friend to do an Obama/Bush duo.

There are not just Presidential masks available, there is an awesome Hillary Clinton mask for sale that is perfect for either Halloween or a protest. Many people think that Hil has quite the stern and scary face, so one should feel perfectly at home wearing on Halloween. Halloween masks should be scary. The Ronald Reagan mask looks like a corpse. Perfect for a back form the dead President. A zombie Reagan is a creative and creepy choice for Halloween. Since he is beloved and hated by so many Americans, you’ll have no trouble getting some attention in the costume.

Masks certainly are a costume standard. Presidential masks are some of the hottest sellers out there. Jazz up that 4th of July celebration with a surprise door greeting by the President of the United States…dry, but very funny!

Killer Klowns Masks

Killer Klowns is a horror film series that brings fright to anyone who has the natural fear of clowns. Clowns are creepy characters that prey on young child and scare everyone they come in contact with. Well, maybe it’s not really that bad-but clowns can be pretty scary; Killer Klowns are the evilest in town. If you really want a creepy mask, a Killer Klowns masks are some that will scare the living daylights out of anyone. Children will have nightmares for weeks if you scare them with a killer clown mask. The characters in the films are so frightening, that you may not want to watch them with young kids! Unless you want them up all night thinking clowns are out to get them…

For Halloween Costumes consider a Killer Klowns mask, they’re effective at causing people to pee themselves. Not by giving them bladder control problems from some weird chemical, but because they’ll think they’re in a horror movie! Killer Klowns are something that will haunt your thoughts for years to come. For truly scary costumes you have to look to the masters of fright, those geniuses of evil-the creator of horror movies. Think about it, who else is better at scaring people than horror movie producers? I mean maybe porno producers, but they are scary for other reasons…

Buffy the Vampire Costumes
Oh. My. GOD> I looooooove Buffy the Vampire Slayer soooo much. You don’t understand it is totally my obsession. Me and my friends are so into it we started our Buffy The Vampire club here in town. It was just us for a little while, but now we have a total of 20 members and meet on a monthly basis, it’s so fun. I really recommend you find a local Buffy fan club and join, you will NOT regret it! Anyway enough rambling. While at one of our monthly meetings, I suggested since it was Halloween time to do Buffy the Vampire cotumes this year. Everyone had costume ideas and we decided that this year we would be the vampires (I Lobbied to be Buffy and everyone else could be the vampires, but that did not go over too well). So we searched the web to find the best buffy costumes we could find. The masks they had were very cool. Our only male member got the latex Natas mask. It was so realistic looking I actually got a little scared. We wanted to pick up as many of the television show masks as we could so some of the girls were going to have to play boys. Which is fine, we like being a little crazy so it did not really matter. Everyone decided that since I was tend to be the most bossy one (I totally disagree, you don’t think I’m bossy, right? right?) that I shoudl get the “judge” mask. Sure it didn’t show off my sweet innocent little face, but this was not about being sweet and innocent, we were VAMPIRES this time out. Thats fine, mine was the scariest anyway.
