Flapper Costumes
Drink some Champagne and dance the Charleston! The twenties are looking more and more like the height of American extravagance and living large. The parties, the drinks, the high living! Too bad it didn’t last. We’ve been living on bored time since, sadly. It’s not all bad, though. You can relive the good times in a flapper costume with realistic touches. Flappers are one of the most recognizable symbols of the roaring twenties. The skinny look, often combined with a long cigarette holder and feather boa, is nostalgic and timeless. Women will always have a place in their costume wardrobes for a flapper of some kind. Consider being your dead great grandmother for Halloween! How’s that for a creepy twist on a classic dress! Put on some white makeup, some touches of death like like fake maggots and a torn flapper. You’ll be inappropriate and get attention. Even better if you’re a guy! Now that is weird. The first person to try it and tell me how it goes and send a picture I’ll give you a gift certificate. I’ll post it on the homepage too. For all to see. Your glorious fifteen minutes of fame!
Halloween costumes aren’t always an easy choice. With the huge number of choices it sometimes seems like it’s impossible to choose. The flapper is costume with which you can’t go wrong. It can be classy, irreverent, or entirely inappropriate. The choice is yours. Carpe Diem, friends. Don’t worry, what happens on Halloween is forgotten within a few days. Or weeks. At the longest, months…

Adult Women Pirate Costume
Pirates, the Robin Hoods of the sea…Wait, that’s not right! Pirates steal for their own well being, but-hey-they probably started off pretty poor to want to wander the ocean hunting merchant ships, right? I would hope so, I mean who would want to be that dirty and salty all the time? Anyway, maybe I’m attaching too many stereotypes to the character of the pirate. I should be trying to break historical mistruths about the pirates! So should you! Show your womanly power in an unusual way, representing the strong Pirate women of the past! Those crazy gypsies of the sea told their male crews what to do and looked good doing it. At least in my mind, I guess. They were probably dirty and salty too. And smelly. Yuck. The halloween costumes of today won’t having you look grungey in anyway, though. They’re mostly sexy costumes with short skirts and lace. Quite feminine. More like the ladies being auctioned off at the Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland. For getting a date this is a good thing.
I guess the point of today’s costume rant is that Pirates can be anything you want them to be. In reality they were most likely vd infested creeps who would steal form their own mother. In our imaginations they can be anything. A beautiful, smart powerful woman included! For Adult Women Pirate Costumes, you will be able to look and feel festive and have that exotic look everyone is going after these days!

Costume Tattoo sleeves
If you want the toughness of the tattoo, but don’t dig the whole needle with ink thing, then costume tattoo sleeves are an item that you may want to consider. Tattoo sleeves take a lot of time and money to get done. With costume tattoo sleeves you skip all the work and can still go into the office in a polo shirt! Or T Shirt. Whatever people wear to offices these days. Personally I don’t even get out of my pajamas sometimes, so I don’t really see what the big deal with some tattoos are. Then again, it’s not like I’m working at a bank or something. Still, wouldn’t that bank with tattooed employees be more attractive to people with alternative lifestyles? I don’t know, just asking the questions folks. Anyway, the flesh toned sleeves with artsy and excellent designs are good additions to many costume types. From bikers to hipsters to rockabilly costumes. Truly, costume tattoo sleeves are an accessory that can make a costume. For biker, all you need to add is a leather jacket, jeans and a t shirt and you’ll have a pretty realistic biker outfit. Make sure you use old worn out clothes because, as we all know, bikers aren’t known for spending a lot of time shopping for clothes at the mall.
Looking tough for Halloween is as easy as spending a few bucks on a temporary tattoo sleeve. They’re cheap and you may want to wear them on other occasions. Try them at a real Biker bar! Maybe that’s not the best idea, but for Halloween costumes they are perfect.

Race Car Costumes
If you’re a fast woman, a girl who knows how to have fun then you should rev up your engine and get into a racer girl or nascar costume. Car racing is the most popular sport in America and if you want a Danica Patrick costume, you’ll need to act fast. Haha. Maybe not too fast since Halloween is still a little ways off, but a sexy race car driver costume is a fun way to attract some attention from some male fans and to stand out in the sea of witches and vampires. Race car drivers are obviously some of the most famous non Hollywood celebrities out there, so if you do your costume right you’ll have no trouble getting recognized as the athlete of your choosing. I guess they’re not really athletes in the sense that they play a sport, but in a sport as competitive as Nascar, these pros deseve some sort of title.
Racer girls are a popular costume for going to costume parties. They’re a conversation starter like no other. Most of the constructions are comfortable as well. I mean how can a jumpsuit not be comfy? There are sexier designs as well, for those who want to show a little leg this Halloween season. Like I say a lot, more and more costumes for women are on the sexy side of designs. This basically means that the costume are cut a little short, tighter and lower in the chest region. Live it up, it’s Halloween!

Costume Canes
I’m so excited everyone! My very favorite season of the year is almost here. Halloween approaches and let the planning commence. I think i may go all out this year. Decorate the house even more than usual. My family is already kind of Munster-esque so it doesn’t take much. Lol. Before you jump into the big stuff, though, try thinking about the details of yoru own costume. Costumes are always best when paired with the right costume accessories, so take a look at the selection of costume canes if you’re dressing up as an old man or woman. Or you want a crook to lean on for your troll costume. The type of cane that you need, no matter which one, is here for you. If you’re going for a Barbershop quartet type of look or a Carnival greeter, try the bamboo canes out. They’re only a few bucks and will make your costume that much more complete.
Canes are a prop that is pretty handy, too. If you get tired you can lean on it while walking-pretty good for the fifth hour of trick or treatign with the little ones. They just want to keep going all night and with your costume cane you’ll be able to take a load off those feet if just momentarily. Steal some of your kid’s andy to keep the sugar levels up. Jk. Also, if you encounter a would-be robber you can defend yourself with your new accessory! Fear not when you wield a cane.

Costume Go Go Boots
Boots are a hot item. They look great with costumes and you can wear them for long after you wear them with your costume. Go Go boots are a fantastic example. They’re a piece of clothing that should be in everyone’s closet already so if you don’t have a pair, you’re missing out. For a Go Go Dancer costume it’s pretty hard to have a good costume without Go Go boots, anyway. So if you’re planning on doing a 60s costume that’s not a hippie, getting the shoes right is a good idea. If you do go the hippie route, just walk around barefoot for a few days before Halloween to build up the soles of your feet and get them nice and dirty. You’ll save some dough and have a great costume! If you’re more like me, however, you’ll probably want to pick up a good pair of costume shoes to complete your costume.
Halloween costumes are something that you only get to wear once a year, so make this costume count. Get a pair of go go boots to make your costume the best it can be. Everyone notices a good costume, so by putting in that small amount of thought, you’re making sure that you can make some new friends! Go out and mingle in your new and quite exotic go go boots. Available in tons of different styles there are go go boots that go with any style of costume. Now all that’s left is to Go Go out there and party!

Pirate Shirt
ARRRRRRGH…It’s time to get that Halloween costume together. If you’re not going for scary or creepy or sexy why don’t you try putting your own spin on a Halloween classic. The pirate costume is one of the most popular costume every year. Actually, it is the MOST popular costume every year. With such demand for the character one must expect an enormous selection of costumes so to not have everyone wearing the exact same thing on Halloween. There are a few trends that are apparent this Halloween season. They’re not particularly new themes, but they are recent in the scheme of things. Jack Sparrow costume have been hot items since Mr. Depp took over the caricature of the pirate in his Disney movies. The other popular Disney character is Captain Hook in his red suit, so keep that in mind for a costume as well.
Another big trend this year is putting together your own costume from pieces. Pirate shirts are available in many different styles and provide a great way to create your own pirate costume. There are the traditional ruffled and white pirate shirts and there are the more theatrical looks with detailing that will have you looking like a ghost pirate. Halloween costumes come and go in popularity, but pirates are safe bet to blend into the crowd. This doesn’t mean that you can’t have a unique costume, but you may want to put it together piece by piece in order to avoid having a look a like at your next costume party.

Costume Hats
Hats can make the man. Or make the costume in the cases of quite a few. I mean, what would a Che Guevara costume be without the iconic Che beret? I mean you’d just look like a random militia member. You don’t want that do you? Honestly, everyone will be asking you what your costume is of. That is pretty lame. That is the sign of a mediocre costume. For certain costumes your really need the hat more than any other item. Not just for Che either. If you’re think of being Slash from Guns N’ Roses for Halloween your can’t have a good costume without the Slash Costume Top Hat. With that and a long wig, if needed, your Slash costume will basically be complete.
Aside from costumes of actual people there are cartoon characters that need their specific items as well. Smurf costumes not only require blue skin, but your need the classic Smurf white cap. Smurfs costumes are a popular one for Halloween, especially with the resurgence of anything 80s the past couple years. People are reliving their youth by showing off their knowledge of Reagan era pop culture. The eighties wouldn’t have been the same without the Smurfs and their catchy theme song. La La La La La La Sing a Happy Tune! Oh no! It’s stuck in my head…oh man this is going to last forever…oh well at least I love the Smurfs and you should too!

Matched to a skirted outfit with pale costume makeup, mini top hats are a great addition! Some come with veils for a more goth with look.
