Haunted House Props

Halloween decorations are as important as costume if you’re planning on having guests this Halloween! You want you house to look creepy and haunted, you’ll need to do more than let the dust gather for the rest of the month. Haunted house props and Halloween decorations are a must have for anyone attempting to look festive this season. From jugs of fake blood to giant prop spiders and bugs there are plenty of items to scare the local kiddies. Or impress the neighbors with your outward showing of seasonal consumerism. Who wouldn’t be jealous of the sweetest haunted house in the neighborhood? I know that every year there are more than a few houses in my area that compete for best decorations. Sadly, I’ve never won. I have supplied a good deal of winning displays though! With professional quality haunted house supplies, your house will look good enough to actually deter people from going to it…Well, maybe not that scary, but pretty creepy.

The big thing to add lately are the afore mentioned hunted house props. They’re just downright weird. The giant bugs, body organs and fake corpses get grosser and more realistic every year. This year is no exception. My mom won’t even look through the costume catalogs anymore. She says it makes her sick! That’s a good sign that the decorations available are truly top notch. Who doesn’t want to have a house dressed up to make people vomit? At least on Halloween, I think this is a good thing!

Halloween Holograph Pictures

Finding unique items for Halloween decorating can sometimes be frustrating. You don’t want just pumpkins and fake spider web everywhere. To have a more custom and unique look you need to find items that not everyone will think of having. If you want a realistic Haunted House, if there is such a thing, think items like holograph photos that look antique and normal at first glance, but quickly pop out to reveal something creepy. Haunted Houses can be tricky, you don’t want to take away focus from the big scares, but you want to dress a place up enough to make it look like an authentic old scary house. The haunted house that sticks in the minds of most is the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. This masterpiece of Haunted Houses is truly the template that all haunted houses should follow. Yes, there are scarier haunted houses out there, but the Haunted Mansion is the best appointed haunted house in the country. Bar none.

To create that old and dusty feel in your house try not dusting for a week and burning some incense in the house. Combined with the spider webs, dim lights and well placed props, your haunted house will be able to compete with the best of them. It’s all about the little touches, though. So remember to adorn the walls with appropriate props like Halloween holograph decorations. The Halloween costumes of the kids going through the house will be nothing compared the well planned space you’ve created!

Halloween Props

Props are a great way to turn your house into a scary Halloween haunted mansion that will have all the kiddies in the neighborhood excited. If you want to be the house all the kids lover to go to, be sure to decorate with some awesome props. From tombstones to black cats to creepy laughing clowns there are props that will make your house like no other. Decorate the house to match your costume this year. If you’re planning to answer the door as a witch make your house the witch’s layer. Halloween is a fun time to get out of yourself for just one night. Really get into character by going completely overboard with decorations. Festive homes are fun homes. Get into the Halloween spirit and put out some tombstones and some black cats in the front yard.

For the front porch may I suggest some giant bug props. The giant centipede props are 56 inches long and 8 inches wide. That’s one big bug. The type of bug that you have in nightmares. Now that is the type of prop you want at your house. The type that causes all the children in the neighborhood to have awful dreams! The trick is on them this year! Haha. Just kidding. Seriously, though, if you jump out with a giant centipede crawling on your back you’re bound to scare at least the grandmother who is accompanying her little grandkids on their Halloween outing. She’ll squeal and curse you, hopefully you don’t cause her to have chest pains on your property unless you’ve purchased insurance!

Scary Puppets and Vent Figures

Scary Puppets

Scary puppets are something perfect for kids. They love puppets and will squeal with delight at the sight of your scary halloween puppet or creepy vent figure. Ventriloquists both amateur and professional can creep everyone out with the weird vent figures available. I suppose they’re not any more weird than usual, but there is something creepy about a vent figure. Especially if it is strewn in the corner of dark room, covered in dust and sprayed with fake blood. They’re a great prop that will scare more than just the kids…For more classic scary puppets there are alien babies to carry around, devil children to hold and various monsters and demons. While the costume is certainly important on Halloween, props at the house make a big difference. Your festivity level increases ten fold. You become the house everyone in the area comes to visit. The place that the neighbors love to hate. Not just out of jealousy, but maybe because they hate the kids wandering around their yard…

Puppets are a fun and easy way to dress up as well. The creepy monster and alien baby puppets can be used with just normal clothing. The babies will give everyone quite a fright when you lift the blanket to reveal the creepy face of your un-human child. You don’t have to put on any makeup or even take a shower…ok, maybe you should take a shower. Afterall if you smell bad you’ll repel everyone before you can scare them with your sweet halloween puppet.

Haunted House Props

Thinking of having a haunted house this Halloween? The thought crosses the mind of many come the fall season. I know Summer just began on Sunday, but the fall is approaching and if you’re planning on having a quality haunted house, you need to start thinking of what you’re going to decorate with. You can do it quite a few different ways. From professional quality to cheapo. For the home haunted house, unless you’re with deep pockets, should be done simply with lots of loud noises and dark rooms with poeple jumping out. Turn done the light and cover everything in black. The kiddies tend to be pretty easy to scare. Even today with all the violence in entertainment, little kids will run screaming at the act of an adult jumping out at them in a scary costume. Chainsaws always add some fun to the mix too.

If you’re thinking something more extravagant then I suggest using some of the excellent professional quality haunted house props. There are all the classics: corpses, moving paintings, giant spider puppets…Really anything that you need to make a haunted house super scary and very impressive. Many people make part of their annual income on Haunted Houses; if you want to really pack the trick or treaters into you haunted house, realistic props are a must have. Haunted houses attendance builds mostly on word of mouth, so you want to be known as having the scariest and most well dressed sets. Try out some props, they’ll get your visitors screaming your address to their friends!
